FreeMe Global Connect Video Challenge

Round 1 — May 6 to May 27, 2026

01 What is this?

The FreeMe Global Connect Video Challenge is a competition run by Freeme Digital Limited (“Freeme”), a music distribution and record label company registered in Nigeria. We are inviting artists, managers, labels, and directors to submit finished music videos for review. The winning video receives a cash prize. All qualifying submissions may be considered for international distribution through Freeme’s mobile-first platform partners.

02 The Prize

₦250,000 (two hundred and fifty thousand naira) will be awarded to the creator of the winning music video as selected by the Freeme judging panel.

The prize will be paid via bank transfer within 14 business days of the winner being announced. The winner must provide valid Nigerian bank account details and a form of identification. Freeme reserves the right to withhold payment if the winner cannot verify ownership of the submitted video.

Videos that do not meet these requirements will not be considered for the prize or for distribution.

05 How to Submit

Send a Google Drive or WeTransfer link to your finished music video to:

Include your artist name, song title, and a contact phone number in the email, or use the submission form on the challenge page.

Do NOT send raw video files via WhatsApp. Large files should be shared via Google Drive or WeTransfer only.

06 Timeline

Late submissions will not be accepted. One submission per artist. If you wish to replace your submission, email us before the deadline.

07 How We Judge

All submissions will be reviewed by the Freeme judging panel. Videos will be assessed on:

The decision of the Freeme judging panel is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding individual judging decisions.

08 What Happens to Your Video

Your YouTube stays yours. This is non-exclusive. You retain full ownership of your video and can continue to distribute it through your own channels — YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or anywhere else — without restriction.

By submitting your video to the FreeMe Global Connect Video Challenge, you grant Freeme Digital a non-exclusive licence to:

This licence does not transfer ownership. You remain the copyright owner of your video, your master recording, and your musical composition. Freeme’s distribution is to a separate mobile-first market — it does not compete with or replace your YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, or any other existing distribution.

If your video is selected for distribution, Freeme will notify you and provide details of the platforms and territories covered.

09 Your Warranties

By submitting, you confirm that:

10 Disqualification

Freeme reserves the right to disqualify any submission that:

Freeme Digital reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel this competition at any time if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary. Any changes will be communicated via Freeme’s social media channels.

Entry to this competition is free. No purchase, sign-up, or distribution agreement with Freeme is required to enter.

This competition is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from this competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.
