Music Blogs

Here are a few tips on getting your music on blogs:

When emailing your music to blogs, make sure you have the correct email address. Also, ensure all the necessary mail properties are intact, in order to avoid your message is sent to the mail spam or is outrightly blocked.

Cover Art

The Cover Art of your music is very important to Music blogs. Not every and any cover art is upload able. There are certain guidelines and requirements that must be met. For more on the cover art guidelines, Click Here…

When sending your content, it is advised to send the streaming links of your song instead of sending the mp3 format. This will aid the monetization of your music. Click here to monetize your content…

Press Release

This is an official statement of what you are sending. i.e music, video, advert e.t.c. It’s an avenue to give a description of what the music or anything you are sending.  Ensure your press release is as brief and straight to the point as it can be.

Be ahead of the Schedule

It is also very vital to contact the blogs way before the scheduled date of your musical event. Sending your publications few hours to the event will imply a lack of organization from your end and as such, many blogs, especially the blue chips, could disregard your entries.

Also, ensure you send follow up emails to the blogs, notifying the blogs of the number of days, weeks leading up to the event. However, it is important to stress that you shouldn’t be a PEST to the blogs. It is fine to communicate your interests and expectation but not to a point when it gets over bearing for the blog. Make sure you know the blog and develop a healthy relationship with them. It makes your work with them easier.

BLAIZMAN’s new single is lit and it!

1605 Studios’ talented and creative vocalist Lanre George, popularly known by his stage name BLAIZMAN has released a powerful and infectious inspirational smashing song, BELIEVE IT and it is a top choice for everyone. The well curled single was premiered with a detailed and crispy lyrics video to enhance learning of the song, as it is currently the talk of the town.

Born in Lagos on 16th May, in the early 1980s. BLAIZMAN is a graduate of Mathematics and a certified Marketing Communication Strategist. He developed the interest in music at an early age while listening to songs by music legends like; King Sunny Ade, Sir Shina Peters, Adewale Ayuba, Platashuz Boys, Remedies and other trending Lagos based musicians in the 90s.

He started music professionally in 2015 and his debut single “MIGRATE” was released with a video that got good rotation on both local and international music platforms including lots of views on Youtube. His follow-up song, titled “INVOLVE ME” featured YQ. The song and video received massive airplay on various terrestrial and satellite television stations and it is still receiving positive reviews from music critics and consumers.

The 1605 Studios managed artiste, is quite in tune with the Nigerian entertainment industry where he has paid his dues, haven been in the game of recording good music since his days at the university where he graduated with a first degree in Mathematics. It is not surprising that he brings a spice of intellectualism and class to his music and personality. The stage name BLAIZMAN is coined from an acronym; ”BLACK IS A ZEALOUS MAN” – this statement drives me to BELIEVE, FOCUS and ACHIEVE; says Lanre George aka BLAIZMAN.

‘BELIEVE IT’ is curled from my personal experiences in life ( the troubles, struggles, mistakes and fears) and the song re-emphasized and re-confirms the need to have a clear vision in your life, the importance to believe and go confidently in the direction of your dreams and not second-guess what you hear God’s voice say to you. Sometimes it is that tiny barely audible voice that reaches your heart and you know. Hence, the need to Believe it!

I recommend that you buy, stream and download ‘BELIEVE IT’

Say Hi Already

Cyclone Artemis – Hi Already ft. Marvis (BBNaija) Audio

Cyclone Artemis has teamed up with her fellow “rappertainer”- Marvis (of Big Brother Nigeria) to treat good music lovers to this smooth, sensual, shot-shooting jam titled Say Hi Already.
Delivered over a serenading instrumental by Vicbeatz, Cyclone shamelessly pours out an emotional narrative of her obsessive and frustrated feelings for this interesting person; prodding him to be on the same page with her.

Marvis serves as the perfect accomplice on this piece as she concurs with Artemis in a manner very reminiscent of Dej Loaf’s Me, You and Hennessy. Even better, this drops on the “Vibe” queen’s birthday.
This is Cyclone’s first and late offering of the year after her Introspect EP and the hiatus seems to have come with an entire change of sound, approach to her music and the industry all together. Although she doesn’t supply even 1 bar of rap, her rapper soul is still sensed all over this joint that was mixed and mastered by Spane5mix.
